Oklahoma Gay Marriage Ban Lifed

LGBT flg

On Friday, October 3, 2014, the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals  upheld an earlier ruling tat struck down the state’s same-sex marriage ban. just days after the new ruling, many same-sex couples rushed out to get their marriage licenses. Oklahoma is a state of many different religious views and opinions. Where it all comes down to is. Homosexuality is not a civil right. The Homosexual Movement piggyback of the hard work of the black civil rights struggle. Before 1974 Homosexual was consider a mental disorder according the DSM, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder. What’s so interesting  about this is that the removal of homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses was not triggered by some scientific breakthrough. There was no new fact or set of facts that stimulated this major change. It was the simple fact  that Homosexual  people started to  complaint. With this outcry they began to make themselves heard.  And the APA reacted.  And with a reason. They realized intuitively that a protracted battle would have drawn increasing attention. The Gay compromise of 1974 paved way for the increasing demand for equal rights. which is doing more harm than good to our youth………..to be continue.
